2 Euro Commemorative Coin Andorra 2015 30th Anniversary of the Coming of Age and Political Rights to the Men and Women turning 18 years old Andorra’s 2015 commemorative €2 coin marks three decades since the country linked adulthood and political participation to the age of eighteen. The year 1985 identifies the reform being commemorated, while 2015 denotes the anniversary issue. Its central image is deliberately civic: a partially shown young person places a ballot into a box, and the ballot carries the name “ANDORRA.” This scene represents the transition into legal adulthood together with the ability to take part in public decision-making. Around the image, a Catalan inscription states that the coin celebrates thirty years of coming of age at eighteen. The twelve stars on the outer ring follow the standard European coin design. The issue comprised 85,000 pieces.
