Its national design features Klimahaus Bremerhaven 8° East, a scientific exhibition and experience center devoted to weather, climate, and the relationship between environmental conditions and human life. Berlin artist Bodo Broschat depicts the building from a striking low, oblique angle, merging its glass bridge, elliptical exhibition structure, and tower into a ship-like architectural image. Two seagulls and a suggested harbor setting emphasize Bremen’s identity as a maritime center of science. The coin therefore links regional character with global climate awareness.
