2 Euro Commemorative Coin Portugal 2021 Portuguese Presidency of the Council of the European Union The coin commemorates Portugal's Presidency of the Council of the European Union in 2021. Its design depicts lines connecting the capital Lisbon at the lower left to other European capitals arranged toward the right in an open right angle. Lower left appears the inscription "PRESIDÉNCIA DO CONSELHO DA UNlÃO EUROPEIA PORTUGAL 2021"; to the left are the mint mark "CASA DE MOEDA" and the designer's name "EDUARDO AIRES". The outer ring shows twelve five‑pointed stars. It was issued on 4 January 2021 and included in FDC and FS folders.
