2 Euro Commemorative Coin Slovakia 2020 20th Anniversary of Slovakia's Accession to the Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development Slovakia joined the OECD as its thirtieth member on 14 December 2000. Two decades later, the coin recalls this entry into a forum that promotes economic and social policy cooperation among its members. Its design combines the Slovak coat of arms with a brain formed by circuit paths and a microprocessor. Bringing together people and technology, the image refers to digital humanism and places the anniversary in a distinctly contemporary context.
