2 Euro Commemorative Coin Slovakia 2011 20th Anniversary of Formation of the Visegrad Group The Visegrád Group was founded on 15 February 1991 through cooperation between Czechoslovakia, Hungary and Poland. It now brings together Slovakia, the Czech Republic, Hungary and Poland on shared European and regional issues. For its twentieth anniversary, the coin combines the outlines of the four states with a multi-part letter V. The design expresses a partnership grounded in neighbourhood, exchange of experience and a common European orientation.
