2 Euro Commemorative Coin Spain 2024 Alcazar de Seville - UNESCO World Heritage Sites Spain’s 2‑euro commemorative of 2024 honors Seville and the monumental trio of Seville Cathedral, the Royal Alcázar and the Archive of the Indies, inscribed as a UNESCO World Heritage site in 1987. The issue forms part of Spain’s annual series on national UNESCO sites. The national side features the Patio de las Doncellas in the Royal Alcázar; ‘‘SEVILLA’’ appears in a circular legend above, the mint mark sits beneath, and ‘‘ESPAÑA’’ with ‘‘2024’’ runs along the lower rim. Twelve EU stars encircle the design, and the coin is two‑tone bimetallic with a silver‑coloured outer ring and a gold‑coloured inner disc. An official order scheduled the issue for the first quarter of 2024, without naming a specific release date.
