2 Euro Commemorative Coin Netherlands 2012 10th Anniversary of Euro coins and banknotes The joint issue of 2012 marks the first ten years in which euro banknotes and coins had shaped daily life across the euro area. Helmut Andexlinger condensed that role into a compact visual language: people represent citizens, a ship trade, a factory industry and wind turbines energy. The Dutch coin therefore combines the shared European design with national mint marks. It was released on 3 February 2012.
