He was born on 11 November 1981 in Luxembourg; accordingly, his quarter-century fell in 2006, the year in which the European Central Bank lists this Luxembourg 2-euro commemorative. The inner area presents superimposed profile portraits of Grand Duke Henri and Hereditary Grand Duke Guillaume. Above appears the country name 'LËTZEBUERG'; below lies the date '2006', positioned between the character 'S' and the respective mint mark. The outer ring displays the twelve stars of the European Union. A design team at the Banque centrale du Luxembourg is credited for the motif; documented issues exist from Finnish and French mints.
