2 Euro Commemorative Coin Andorra 2020 27th Ibero-American Summit in Andorra Andorra’s 2020 €2 commemorative coin marks the 27th Ibero-American Summit of Heads of State and Government. At the time, Andorra was the youngest and smallest member of the Ibero-American Conference, whose participants include 19 Latin American countries together with Spain, Portugal, and Andorra. By hosting the meeting, the principality sought to strengthen its links with the region and to address challenges shared across the Ibero-American community. The summit’s guiding theme was “Innovation for Sustainable Development – Objective 2030,” placing the implementation of the Sustainable Development Goals at the centre of its agenda. The coin depicts a tree formed from human figures and cogwheels. The figures express cooperation among society, culture, and education, while the gears suggest the coordinated movement of participants’ ideas and proposals. The adjacent summit emblem uses triangles to evoke Andorra’s flag and its commitment to the Sustainable Development Goals.
