2 Euro Commemorative Coin Portugal 2021 Portugal's participation in the Tokyo 2020 Olympic Games Issued on 18 May 2021 honoring Portugal's participation in the Tokyo Olympic Games. Because of the COVID-19 pandemic the Games originally scheduled for 2020 were held in 2021 but retained the title 'Tokyo 2020'. The design reproduces the Portuguese Olympic Committee's emblem, featuring a pennant and the Order of Christ cross above the five Olympic rings. The coin is inscribed "2021 PORTUGAL NOS JOGOS OLIMPICOS DE TOQUIO '20", bears the mint mark CASA DE MOEDA and the name Francisco Providência; the outer ring shows twelve stars. Available in FDC and FS folders.
