2 Euro Commemorative Coin Luxembourg 2023 25th Anniversary of the admission of Grand Duke Henri as a member of the International Olympic Committee - Relief Version This coin marks the 25th anniversary of Grand Duke Henri's membership in the International Olympic Committee, which the IOC records as beginning in 1998; he is also listed as a member of the Olympic Solidarity Commission since 1999. The issue date was 24 April 2023. The design features a three‑quarter portrait of the Grand Duke facing right, vertical inscriptions "LËTZEBUERG" and "GROUSSHERZOG HENRI", the three Olympic rings, five stylised athletes, the dates 1998 and 2023 and the number 25. The portrait is credited to Chiara Principe (CP); Joaquin Jimenez (JJ) is named as a contributing designer.
