2 Euro Commemorative Coin Portugal 2024 Portugal's participation in the 33rd Olympic Games The Portuguese 2 euro commemorative coin marks Portugal's participation in the Paris Olympic Games; it was issued 4 July 2024. The central motif depicts a row of people forming a heart; fifteen circles symbolize the Olympic rings and continents. The Portuguese Olympic Committee logo appears within, and the lower tip bears the national coat of arms. Below are the inscription "EQUIPA OLÍMPICA PORTUGAL" and the year 2024; left the mintmark "CASA DA MOEDA", right the author "RITA MARGARDIDA". The outer ring carries twelve five-pointed EU stars. Included in FDC and FS folders.
