2 Euro Commemorative Coin Portugal 2009 2nd Lusophony Games This Portuguese 2 euro commemorative coin was issued on 9 June 2009 to commemorate the second Lusophony Games held in Lisbon from 11 to 19 July. The design centers on the games' logo, inspired by an athlete with a ribbon referring to rhythmic gymnastics. To the left is the date 2009; above the national coat of arms with the legend "PORTUGAL"; below the mint mark "INCM", the inscription "2.os JOGOS DA LUSOFONIA LISBOA" and the designer's signature J. Aurélio. The outer ring bears twelve five-pointed stars.
