2 Euro Commemorative Coin Belgium 2025 Belgian National Lottery Belgium’s National Lottery was founded in 1934 and celebrated its ninetieth anniversary in 2025. Its first draw took place at Brussels’ Cirque Royal, giving that venue special relevance at the coin’s presentation. The design combines the lottery emblem with Fortuna and her cornucopia, classical symbols of chance and good fortune. The issue therefore tells more than a story of prizes: it refers to an institution that has provided funding for social, cultural and sporting projects for decades.
