2 Euro Commemorative Coin San Marino 2025 The Jubilee Year 2025 - Pilgrims of Hope San Marino’s commemorative issue marks the Catholic Holy Year 2025, whose guiding theme is “Pilgrims of Hope.” The jubilee encourages reflection on hope, faith and the universal bonds shared by humanity. Rather than commemorating a single historical event or individual, the coin honours a religious year intended to give spiritual meaning to the present and to express a message of fraternity that reaches beyond national borders. Designed by Gabriele Di Maulo, the scene shows a woman holding an anchor while leading a child by the hand. The anchor conveys stability in uncertain circumstances. Together, the two figures represent hope and renewal, as well as humanity’s capacity to regenerate, in keeping with the official interpretation of the design.
