2 Euro Commemorative Coin Slovenia 2025 100th Anniversary of birth of Miki Muster Slovenia 2025 €2 Commemorative Coin 100th Anniversary of Miki Muster’s Birth This commemorative coin honours Nikolaj “Miki” Muster, born in Murska Sobota on 22 November 1925 and deceased on 7 May 2018. [1] [2] Although trained as an academic sculptor, he became best known for illustration, comics and animation. His enduring characters Zvitorepec, Lakotnik and Trdonja helped shape Slovenia’s popular visual culture and accompanied generations of readers. Muster first worked as a newspaper illustrator and later pursued animation, including a long period in Germany. By marking his centenary, the 2025 issue recognises a pioneer of Slovenian comics and a versatile storyteller whose work crossed print, television and film.
