2 Euro Commemorative Coin Belgium 2026 100th anniversary of the National Railway Company The National Railway Company of Belgium, known as SNCB or NMBS, was founded in 1926. Its hundred-year history reflects the development of a nationwide network linking cities, regions and neighbouring countries. The 2026 commemorative coin uses the company’s centenary emblem and was officially presented at the Train World railway museum. As a planned collector issue, it recalls that railways are not only a story of technology but have also shaped mobility, economic connections and everyday life.
